Each child’s Halloween ticket includes:

Sheep food will be available to buy so you can feed and stroke our friendly sheep through the fence. Please note that this experience does not include entering the sheep paddock or a full sheep-cuddling session.
Marshmallows will also be available to purchase for toasting around the fire. 🔥
Please come dressed for the weather—wellies and Halloween costumes are very welcome!

Celebrate your special day with an unforgettable birthday party at The Cuddly Sheep Retreat! 🎈🐑
Perfect for both adults and children, our private birthday experiences offer something wonderfully different for animal lovers of all ages.
You and your guests will meet our friendly flock, feed and gently brush the sheep, enjoy plenty of cuddles and capture some lovely photographs together. The birthday guest will also receive a special birthday badge and certificate as a keepsake from their day.
Children aged six and over can enter the paddock and cuddle the sheep under close supervision. Younger children are very welcome to join the celebration, but for safety and licensing reasons, children under six will meet, stroke and feed the sheep through the fence.
Please come dressed for an outdoor farm experience, with suitable clothing and sturdy footwear. Wellies are recommended during wet weather.
Birthday parties are private, spaces are limited and advance booking is essential.
A Very Sheepy Christmas
Step into a little Christmas magic at The Cuddly Sheep Retreat…
This December, our little retreat by the sea is being transformed for A Very Sheepy Christmas — a cosy festive experience filled with twinkling lights, fluffy sheep, hot chocolate and, of course, a very special visit to Father Christmas.
Your Christmas adventure will include time with our wonderful sheep, festive activities around the retreat and a visit to Santa’s Grotto in Bluebell, beautifully transformed into a warm and traditional Christmas hideaway.

We want our Christmas experience to feel cosy, personal and unhurried, rather than a huge busy Christmas attraction. Spaces will therefore be limited, giving families time to enjoy the experience, meet the sheep and make some lovely Christmas memories together.

Welcome to Sheep Explorer Base Camp
Calling all curious young explorers!
Hidden away on our little coastal smallholding overlooking Filey Bay is a rather special base camp — a place where children can get muddy, investigate nature, learn about animals and discover what life with our sheep is really like.
This isn’t a classroom lesson.
It’s hands-on, outdoors and designed to encourage children to look closer, ask questions and discover things for themselves.
Your Explorer Mission
During your adventure you’ll head out from Base Camp to complete a series of challenges.
🐑 Meet the Flock
Get to know our friendly sheep and discover that every member of the flock has their own personality.
🌾 Feed Detective
Take a closer look at what’s actually in a sheep’s dinner. Can you identify the different ingredients and work out why they need them?
❤️ Sheep Welfare
Learn how we check that our sheep are happy and healthy and have a go at thinking like an animal keeper.
🐞 Bug Hunt
Grab your explorer equipment and see what tiny creatures are hiding around the smallholding.
🦊 Wildlife Detective
Keep your eyes on the ground, the fields, the cliffs and the sky. You never know what might appear around our coastal home.
🔎 Base Camp Discovery
Investigate wool, feathers, fossils, eggs, antlers and other natural treasures back at Base Camp.
And when your mission is complete…
Every young explorer finishes their adventure with their own Sheep Explorer badge and certificate to take home.
Because every great explorer deserves proof of their adventure.
