We’re Sammy and Jo, and together we’ve created a smallholding designed for quiet moments, meaningful connection, and a touch of something truly special. With over 20 years as a zookeeper, Sammy brings a deep understanding of animal behaviour and welfare, while Jo—an engineer turned handywoman—has carefully crafted the space you’ll experience today.
At the heart of it all are our beautifully natured Valais Blacknose sheep. Raised within our family environment, they are calm, gentle, and naturally drawn to human connection. Among them is Lady Baba, hand-reared in our home, whose affectionate personality perfectly reflects the spirit of the experience.
